Cereal is a magazine rooted in passions for food, travel and books, with all the wonderful things that they can teach us.
Each issue of Cereal contains detailed expositions of edible topics and travel destinations, as well as profiles on delightful products, people and places. In part, Cereal is aimed at our inner child. Back when we were little, we learned many fun facts from the back of cereal boxes. These boxes were the first thing we read each day, and they taught and entertained us. Hence, Cereal, a publication which hopes to become your morning read.
In this volume, we explore the theme of sustainability, discuss architecture with Tadao Ando, and examine a framework for design with Ilse Crawford. We visit Mexico City to experience Casa Luis Barragán and Pujol, and escape to Malibu and Montenegro.
In this volume, we discuss design with John Pawson and Margaret Howell, explore the cities of Sydney and London, and escape to Sri Lanka and Bali. We also sail with Loro Piana, visit the studio of Landon Metz, and tour the former home of Georgia O'Keeffe. The publication is 200 pages, perfect bound, and printed in full colour on FSC-approved uncoated paper in the United Kingdom.
Vol 12 features travel chapters on Rajasthan (India), S. California (USA), and the Faroe Islands. In the interlude sections, we interview artist Lee Ufan; profile Hermès' annual show jumping competition; feature a study of lighting; and visit the world's last great wilderness, Antarctica. We also present an edit of select jewellery in CURATED.
