By clicking "purchase" on the Confirm and Pay page and agreeing to purchase a magazine subscription or any single product item from mag nation, you:

Instruct mag nation to supply the contact information and order details that you provided on the purchase form, or that you provided to a mag nation staff member to enter on your behalf on the purchase form, to the publisher or distributor of any product or service you have subscribed for.

Agree that all prices are either provided to mag nation by the relevant publisher or are calculated based on cost information provided to mag nation by third party distributors, and that mag nation has no responsibility for the accuracy of the prices on the mag nation website.

Agree that all information about any product or service on the mag nation Website is provided by the publisher or distributor of that product or service or is sourced from publically available information and that mag nation has no responsibility for the accuracy of that information and is not liable for any errors or omissions in that information.

Agree that the products or services offered through the mag nation Website are offered by the publishers or distributors of those products or services, and that any contract for the subscription for a product or service is between you and the publisher or distributor of that product or service and that mag nation is not a party to that contract, except where mag nation is identified as the distributor of the product or service.

Agree that mag nation and its employees and agents will not be liable in contract or tort (including negligence), equity or on any other basis to you or any other person for any loss, injury or damage arising from or as a consequence of any act or omission by mag nation and it employees and agents or any person providing services through the mag nation website.

Agree that your name, address and email address shall when provided by you become the property of Mag Nation Business Services Pty Ltd. You agree to the mag nation Privacy Policy contained on the mag nation Website.

Agree that if you subscribe to a magazine which is not distributed by Mag Nation Business Services Pty Ltd, your name, address and email address shall when provided by you also become the property of the relevant publisher. You agree to contact the relevant publisher for details of its privacy policy.

Consent to both the receipt of emails from mag nation containing information and offers about products and services available from mag nation in which you may have an interest, and also the receipt of emails from publishers of magazines available on mag nation, containing information and offers about their products and services.

Acknowledge that prices quoted are inclusive of GST and delivery costs. You also understand that 'tip-ons' and gifts that may be available with non-subscriber copies of a magazine may not be provided with subscriber copies, depending on the relevant publisher or distributor's discretion.

Agree that any errors made in entering the contact information and order details on the subscription form irrespective of whether assisted by a mag nation staff member in store or not, are your responsibility and neither mag nation nor the publisher or distributor of the magazine is liable for any consequences of such errors or incorrect information, including but not limited to failure to send the magazines subscribed for to the correct address. If you change address or any other relevant details, you must notify the relevant publisher or distributor.

Agree that any errors made in entering the contact information and order details on the subscription form irrespective of whether assisted by a mag nation staff member in store or not, are your responsibility and neither mag nation nor the publisher or distributor of the magazine or any other product is liable for any consequences of such errors or incorrect information, including but not limited to failure to send the magazines or any other product subscribed for / purchased to the correct address. If you change address or any other relevant details, you must notify the relevant publisher or distributor.

Acknowledge that despite our reasonable precautions, products may be listed as an incorrect price with incorrect information, or may be unavailable, or in the case of an ongoing magazine subscription, subsequently become unavailable. This may be due to an error or similar oversight, or be due to a decision made by a third party provider. We reserve the right to cancel an order in this event. We may also cancel an order if we believe that it is being made in contravention of our Terms of Use, or in contravention of the rights of any person or any law. We may cancel an order even where it has been confirmed and your credit card has been charged. We reserve this right up until the time of delivery of the product to that customer. In the case of an ongoing magazine subscription, we reserve the right to cancel a subscription even where some issues have been fulfilled but others remain outstanding. If any cancellation by us occurs, we will immediately credit the customers credit card for the outstanding amount in question.

Agree that all offers made, contracts concluded and services provided through the mag nation website shall be deemed to be made and provided in Australia notwithstanding the location of you or the publisher or the distributor of any magazine or other product, shall be governed exclusively by Australian law, and the Courts of Australia shall have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any such matters involving or alleged to involve mag nation.

Acknowledge that these Standard Subscription Terms and Conditions and more generally the mag nation Term of Use, may be modified from time to time, and you agree that you are responsible for regularly reviewing these Standard Subscription and Purchase Terms and Conditions and Terms of Use, and you agree to any such modification.

Agree that our services are only available to and may only be used by people who are over 16 years of age and who can form legally binding contracts, and that you are over 16 years of age.

Agree that, to the extent permitted by law, mag nation and/or its suppliers exclude all liability for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever including without limitation, damages for loss of life, data or profits, arising out of or in any way connected with the use or performance of the mag nation Website, the delay or inability to use the mag nation Website, the provision of or failure to provide goods or services, or any information, software, products or services obtained through the mag nation Website.

Security

At mag nation we understand that the security of your personal and purchasing information is very important to you. We have therefore taken every possible measure to give absolute security to our customers in their dealings with us. We will ensure that you can shop at mag nation with complete confidence.

We have established processes to secure any information, which you have provided to us. This is stored on secure servers that are protected in controlled facilities.

Our secure server software (SSL) is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions to a level of at least 128 bits. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.

SSL locks all information passed from you to mag nation in an encrypted envelope. This makes it almost impossible to be intercepted by an unauthorised party, as long as your browser and local network support the use of encrypted data transmissions.

Payment Options and Conditions

At mag nation we accept payment by Visa and MasterCard.

mag nation allows payments to be made in Australian Dollars where your shipping address is in Australia. New Zealand Dollars where your shipping address is in New Zealand, and Australian Dollars if your shipping address is in any country outside of Australia and New Zealand. Prices are displayed on our website and delivery locations are specified. If a delivery location is not specified, this means that the product is not available for delivery to that location.

As part of the proceed to cart process, you will have to specify which geographic zone your shipping address is located in. mag nation will then display prices in your relevant currency only and this is clearly displayed BEFORE you Checkout and input your credit card details and confirm your purchase.

The price you pay is fixed at the time of ordering. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the product delivery address is correct, as mag nation takes no responsibility for errors in the delivery address given to us when the product is to be fulfilled by us.

Refunds and Returns

To cancel a magazines subscription, you must contact the publisher / fulfilment contact directly. The contact details of the publisher / fulfilment contact are contained in the confirmation email for each purchase. These details can also be found by logging on to your account on the mag nation website. Standard practice is to refund monies for the remaining issues in your subscription at the time of cancellation. However, each publisher has slightly different terms on refunds so before you do so please check these terms so there are no hidden surprises. We are happy to advise you on any information you required through contact us.

Where mag nation is the relevant fulfilment contact, mag nation will follow standard industry practice unless the magazine subscription is for an international magazine. Please be aware that for International magazines, NO refunds are available. In no circumstances will you receive a refund for a magazine already received by you.

No refunds or returns are accepted for books, stationery or T-shirts unless it can be demonstrated that the product arrived damaged or in a condition not fit for purpose. In this case, the customer must email mag nation customer service within 14 days of receiving the product to tell us about the nature of the damage. No refunds or returns will be accepted for T-shirts based on the size not fitting the intended wearer.

Delivery

All prices listed on mag nation are inclusive of delivery costs. There will be no extra delivery charges. Magazines purchased from the mag nation website will either be delivered by the relevant publisher partner, or directly by mag nation. The party responsible for delivery will be clearly indicated to you after you purchase your subscription on the Success Screen, in the email sent to you confirming your purchase, and also if you log into your account and view your subscriptions on the mag nation website.

For Australian and New Zealand magazines, the Industry Standard Delivery Schedules are:

For international magazines that come out weekly, fortnightly and monthly, you should generally allow 4-8 weeks for your subscription to start. Therefore, if your mag comes out monthly, you should probably receive the next issue. If it comes out fortnightly, you might have to wait between 2-4 issues.

If your magazine comes out quarterly or three times a year, mag nation will wait until the next issue arrives before sending it out. We do this simply to ensure you do not get any duplicate copies.

For example, if a quarterly magazine came out on the 1st of Jan, and you subscribe on the 15th of Jan, we will send you your first copy when the next issue comes out on the 1st of April.

Only if you subscribe to an annual or bi-annual magazine which comes out once or twice a year will you receive the current issue within 2-4 weeks.

Delivery of books, stationery and t-shirts will be made within 1-4 weeks after purchase.

Discount Vouchers

Discount vouchers are valid for a period of 6 months from when they are issued. Discount vouchers may only be used once, and are not to be used in conjunction with any other offers or promotions. Only one Discount Voucher may be used per purchase transaction. Discount vouchers are both issued and redeemed at the sole discretion of mag nation.
