Roci Dynamite's review on SPOOK
Date: 11/06/2010This month's edition was collated well in terms of it's genre (Culture/Fashion/Art/Music). The section that I found very interesting and helpful was the Media section. I'm also a Journalism student hoping to find a career in a young adult niche fashion magazine, and to read the Feature article on the advice and hardships of Editors from other magazines and mediums helped me alot. What I also found very appealing was the mass of art work, unlike other fashion/music magazines where Fashion campaign advertisements are all that's saturated into the magazine. So having reading material and imagery infixed into this issue was a great balance. I'm happy I got my money's worth and will continue to follow each issue, hands down!

Cassandra Ong's review on SPOOK
Date: 26/12/2009This is a great magazine. It's kind of geared towards the more alternative creative underground artsy musicy types. Matte pages. Lovely layout. Nice text choice. Smells good. I got a very Melbourne vibe from the magazine, so I suppose if you're not from Melbourne, it could give you a feeling of what Melbourne is like. And if you are from Melbourne, then you can relate. A+.
