032c

$89.95

032c is a biannual English-language culture magazine that is published in Berlin and covers art, fashion and politics. Deriving its title from the Pantone colour code corresponding to the bold red that adorns each issue's cover, 032c is an extremely stylish title with amazing production values.

Past contributors include Matthew Barney, Hedi Slimane, Daido Moriyama, Juergen Teller, and Rem Koolhaas/OMA. The fashion section has featured stories by Steven Klein, Inez Van Lamsweerde, Fabian Baron and Alasdair McLellan.

What's inside this issue

What do you do if you’ve already reinvented cinema and created some of the most noteworthy films in the last three decades? If you’re HARMONY KORINE, you set technology on fire. In the 032c Issue #44 dossier, CASSIDY GEORGE reveals the world of EDGLRD, Korine’s newest venture that uses video games and AI to push storytelling into unknown territory. Meanwhile, rapper YEAT takes us to an undisclosed location to ride dirt bikes and talk about aliens, which is documented by BRENT MCKEEVER and MYLES XAVIER.

K-Pop’s number one star, RM, grants FIONA BAE access to his mindset before his obligatory military service and photographer WING SHYA captures his mood in a shoot that was styled by RYOTA ISHII. With hazy eyes, ALTON MASON shines in BURBERRY for a shoot by ALEX BRUNET and OLGA VAROVA.

IRINA SHAYK glitters for SEAN AND SENG styled by RAS BARTRAM. SHUMON BASAR measures the calculated contradictions of the current MIU MIU moment and ALMA LEANDRA brings the heritage of MONCLER into the night. In a birthday letter to ISA GENZKEN, CLAIRE KORON ELAT explains why the artist is an it-girl, VICTORIA CAMBLIN discovers the monsters that haunt TAKASHI MURAKAMI, and SVEN MICHAELSEN uncovers why money is so important to DAMIEN HIRST.

JOHANNA ADORJÁN learns how to not kill yourself from writer CLANCY MARTIN and SHANE ANDERSON speaks to philosopher MATTEO PASQUINELLI about the social history of AI. Styled by NASTYA KLYCHKOVA, VITALI GELWICH shoots SIMONA KUST before (or after?) a crash. ADRIANO SACK climbs a volcano with artist JULIAN CHARRIÈRE and JACQUELINE LANDVIK provides us with two editorials that exemplify that before streetwear there was clubwear, and before clubwear there was the classic.
